IMPORTANT NOTE! Please do not upload a sketch using the Arduino Hardware setup tool to your device.

You do not need to do this. Your DDU is already configured and does not require you to create or upload a sketch.
​Replacing the already installed sketch will cause the device to stop functioning.

Getting started with your SimDash Pro...

To use your ReaperWare SImDash Pro you must already have SimHub downloaded and installed. If you dont have it already please download it HERE and install it.
Although not required, We recommend you purchase a license for SimHub as it's truly an amazing piece of software.

Step 1 - Plug in your DDU and check SimHub for connectivity.​

Connectivity...

• Plug your SimDash into any available USB port. You will hear the Windows USB connect chime.
• Load up SimHub, on the left side tab select "Arduino".
• Wait a few seconds (Normally 5 seconds after first connection but can take up to 30 seconds if USB port is changed or new device added).

Left side USB connection for data and primary power. Right side USB port is for supplementary power if you do not have a powered USB hub. (Not always required).

Open the 'My Hardware' tab at the top. You should see your connected device here, please wait for SimHub to connect to it.

Hopefuly you will see the "Scanning" status change from "Not Connected" in Red letters to green "Connected" and the name of the connected device will appear. (See pics).

Any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port should work however If you continue to see "Not connected" we advise you to try another USB port or wait a little longer for connection. 

If you don't see your device here it is likely to be a USB connection issue.

Once connected, please move on to Step 2.

Not connected. Plug in your SimDash and wait for connection.

Your SimDash is connected! Congrats! Proceed to Step 2...

Step 2 - SimHub LED profile.​

SimDash LED profile...

• Download the ReaperWare SimDash profile. 

download reaperware SIMDASH profile

• Navigate to your Downloads folder and extract the LED profile from the WinRAR archive.
• Move the extracted profile to your 'Documents/SimHub' folder. 
• In SimHub, from the 'Arduino' tab on the left select 'RGB Matrix' at the top. Use SimHub's profile manager to then import the profile.

Use SimHub's profile manager to import the extracted iFlag profile.

When imported it will appear here. Select it and press 'LOAD'.

Step 3 - Testing Functionality.​

Open 'Test data editor'.

The Test data editor allows you to test the functionality of some events without launching a game.

Testing your profile...

There is an idle animation that should display as soon as the profile is loaded correctly.

To test the functionality of your profile before launching a game you can click on "Open test data editor" and experiment with all the different sliders and options.

Please note that the test data editor does not currently work with events that are tied to custom animations.
To test these events you will need to launch a game.

Please note : A full restart of SimHub may be required at this point.

Our ReaperWare profile can be edited and expanded to suit your exact needs. Animations, colours, flags, RPM LED's can all be changed. Additional effects can be added or effects can be turned off.
To do this, under the 'RGB LED's' tab. Expand 'When game is running' and 'When game is not running' groups, from here you can find all of the effects and make changes as you wish.
This profile will be updated periodically.
