IMPORTANT NOTE! Please do not upload a sketch using the Arduino Hardware setup tool to your iFlag.

You do not need to do this. Your iFlag is already configured and does not require you to create or upload a sketch.
​Replacing the already installed sketch will cause the device to stop functioning.

Getting started with your iFlag...

To use your ReaperWare iFlag you must already have SimHub downloaded and installed. If you dont have it already please download it HERE and install it.
Although not required, We recommend you purchase a license for SimHub as it's truly an amazing piece of software.

For advanced iFlag profiles we recommend Daniel Newman Racing.

Step 1 - Plug in your iFlag and check SimHub for connectivity.​

Connectivity...

• Plug your iFlag into any available USB port. You will hear the Windows USB connect chime.
• Load up SimHub, on the left side tab select "Arduino".
• Wait a few seconds (Normally 5 seconds after first connection but can take up to 30 seconds if USB port is changed or new device added).
  

Hopefuly you will see the "Scanning" status change from "Not Connected" in Red letters to green "Connected" and the name of the connected device will appear. (See pics).

Any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port should work however If you continue to see "Not connected" we advise you to try another USB port or wait a little longer for connection. 

Once connected, please move on to Step 2.

Not connected. Plug in your iFlag and wait for connection.

Your iFlag is connetced! Congrats! Proceed to Step 2...

Step 2 - SimHub Matrix profiles.​

Matrix profiles...

• Download the ReaperWare iFlag profile required. If you have one iFlag then please download the profile for a single iFlag. If you are running a pair of iFlag's then you will need to download the 'Dual iFlag' profile.

• Navigate to your Downloads folder and extract the LED profile from the WinRAR archive.
• Move the extracted profile to your 'Documents/SimHub' folder. 
• In SimHub, from the 'Arduino' tab on the left select 'RGB Matrix' at the top. Use SimHub's profile manager to then import the profile.

Use SimHub's profile manager to import the extracted iFlag profile.

When imported it will appear here. Select it and press 'LOAD'.

Step 3 - Testing Functionality.​

Open 'Test data editor'.

The Test data editor allows you to test the functionality of your iFlag(s) without launching a game.

Testing your profile...

To test the functionality of your profile before launching a game you can click on "Open test data editor" and experiment with all the different sliders and options. Hopefully your iFlag(s) will be displaying something at this point.

If not, a full restart of SimHub may be required.

​Congrats you're all set, launch your game/sim and enjoy!

If you have two or more iFlag's then there may be a couple more steps that you need to do before everything is working as required....

Multiple iFlag's - Additional steps for setting up multiple iFlag's.​

When using multiple iFlag's there are additional steps that need to be done before you can independently address each iFlag.

• Select the 'Arduino' tab on the left. Click 'My Hardware' at the top of this window. Ensure that 'Multiple Arduinos' is selected at the top.
• Expand the settings on each of your iFlag's by clicking on the arrow.

• Each iFlag should have it's own unique numerical identifier. The first iFlag's 'RGB Matrix content' should be set to a value of '1'.
• The second iFlag should have a value of '2' etc...
• This will allow your LED profile in SimHub to address each iFlag individually by specifying the 'Matrix Start Position' in the effect. 
• If you need to switch what side your iFlag's are displaying (Left and Right), you can swap the 'RGB Matrix content' around.
• You can also rotate the display of each iFlag here, useful for when you have each iFlag physically mounted in different orientations.
• When done, press 'Apply'. You will need to fully close SimHub and restart it for changes to take affect.
